It’s hard to believe that it’s been half a year since the CubeForme journey first began. These past months have been incredibly taxing – juggling the demands of the company with school, running from one meeting to the next (not as bad for Kyle because he used to run cross-country), sending hundreds of emails, spending all-nighters to work on the website, reciting the same pitch over and over and over…it’s been rough. But at the same time, these past months have been some of the best that we’ve ever had.
Every day of CubeForme has been an incredible learning experience – we’ve learned quite a bit about 3D printing, business, and the world as a whole. What’s great about entrepreneurship is that the things you learn from it are almost always applicable to many other aspects of life. For instance, keeping an open mind is critical not only for the progress of a company, but for being happy with others. There’s certainly a lot of overlap. Entrepreneurship, after all, exists with people at the core of it all.
Starting a company, primitively described, is all about building and scaling. We think it’s fair to say that we’ve successfully built the base of CubeForme…and we’re now ready to enter a new phase of actual product testing and growing. Don’t get me wrong, though. Even with this transition, there’s still a lot of constants. We still have the same vision, the same principles, and we will continue to work tirelessly to create the best 3D printing experience for you.
That’s probably enough sentimental reflection for now. We still need to attend to some matters for the launch! 10 AM. Tomorrow. The designer features will no longer be locked and the Kickstarter campaign will be live for your viewing pleasure. We’ll make sure that the link gets to you. Whether you contribute to our funding goal or share the campaign with your network, we greatly appreciate whatever support you’re able to give. Until tomorrow morning, cheers!
